What the official page actually says
Permafrost is framed as a grounded survival experience with no constant gunfire and no fantasy tropes. That is useful positioning, but it is not enough evidence for a damage chart or a best weapon ranking.
- Factions control territories.
- Hunting is a confirmed system.
- Technology can be reclaimed through exploration.
- Repairing broken machines is part of progression.
Launch-day weapon table
Future weapon entries should capture exact name, damage or effect, durability, ammo or resource need, repair cost, source location, and a test note. Comparisons should use the same target and difficulty conditions.
